Before applying for employment with our team, please ensure you hold the following mandatory requirements. The following are non-negotiable conditions of employment.
NDIS Worker Screening Check
It’s the national background check for disability workers and is usually mandatory for anyone working in a risk-assessed role with NDIS participants. It’s valid across Australia for 5 years.
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
If you’ll be supporting anyone under 18, you’ll also need a WWCC or Blue Card. The NDIS check does not replace this.
Current Driver Licence
Most support worker jobs involve transporting clients to appointments, shopping, activities, etc., so a licence is usually required.
Reliable & Registered Vehicle
Often needed if transporting participants.
Comprehensive Car Insurance
Many providers require this if you use your own car for work.
First Aid & CPR Certificate
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
- HLTAID009 – CPR
If not up to date, this can be renewed at the time of employment
Right to Work in Australia
Passport, citizenship, visa, VEVO check
